Thursday Jun 18, 2020
Thursday Jun 18, 2020
In their longest episode yet, the Doc and Baron discuss Robert Eggers' surreal horror film, The Lighthouse, starring Willem Dafoe and Robert Pattinson.
There is too much to talk about in this divisive, black and white, disturbing film, but they give it a red hot go, covering topics such as ancient mythology, wanky student films by filmmakers who want to look smarter than they are, mermaid wet dreams, the Doc's iso fitness regime, and of course...
what all these things, and the film itself, reminds them of.

#001 - Jojo Rabbit
Tuesday Apr 21, 2020
Tuesday Apr 21, 2020
Baron and the Doc dive into their first episode of 'That Reminds Me Of' with 'Jojo Rabbit' - a film by Taika Waititi that is already becoming a bit of a cult comedy classic.
While describing the whole premise of the show itself may cause more grief than it should, the conversation soon gets into a breakdown of Jojo Rabbit, thoughts on Taika and his career and finally, maybe even more important than the film itself, a series of films and other things that 'Jojo Rabbit' brought to the surface from the murky depths of Doc's and Baron's brains.
Give it a go, you may dig it.
