Shirley was another late addition to the Melbourne International Film Festival, and another one that Doc and Baron couldn't resist.

Baron and The Doc review Black Bear, directed by Lawrence Michael Levine, starring Aubrey Plaza, Sarah Gadon, and Christopher Abbott.
Black Bear was a spot Light film at the Melbourne International Film Festival.
Baron and the Doc dig into plot-twisting tale of a love triangle, cooked two ways. It's genre bending, uncomfortable at times, hilarious at others.
The film has had it's moment at MIFF, but watch out for it when it hits streaming services - it's one you can't miss.

The film is quagmire of masculine angst, but in the best kind of way, and has Doc and Baron digging into the many polarising creative choices, stellar performances, and yes, aspect ratios, again!
